Goff's Cay Excursion & Lunch (from Belize City)

For your convenience, you’ll be collected from your Belize City hotel or Tourism Village at the cruise port. First, you’ll enjoy a scenic 30-minute boat ride out to the island, which is located around 13 miles from the mainland. Once you arrive, you can indulge in some wildlife appreciation, as well as some all-important relaxation.

The tiny island offers crystal clear waters that never fall below a balmy 80 degrees, making them perfect for swimming year-round. Also, because Goff’s Cay is located right on the edge of the Mesoamerican Barrier Reef, you’ll get to see tons of tropical fish while you’re here. The coral formations are really beautiful and the waters are rich with lobsters, sea urchins, and sting rays. Don your snorkel mask and get up close to the native ocean creatures as you swim through the shallow waters. This is a perfect activity to introduce your kids to snorkeling and will create wonderful family memories.

Once you’ve enjoyed your ocean time, why not find yourself a prime spot on the beach and catch some rays?
